Among the many announcements this week during the 10th anniversary of Katrina, news of a first-ever resilience strategy by the City of New Orleans was one of the bright spots. As a long-term partner to New Orleans and a key platform partner in The Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities (100RC) program, Veolia proudly supported and helped define the “Resilient New Orleans” roadmap.

Among 41 actions proposed to build urban resilience, Veoila and Swiss Re helped develop strategies that support the city’s resilient infrastructure recovery and risk transfer initiative.
